Another work day outfit, my days have been spent learning a new position withing my current department I am now a Staff Development Officer which is kinda cool I basically get to train new & existing staff I love it. It also means that I have had a lot of changes in my life over the past month but things seem to be finding their groove again.  I adore the fact that I get to use my qualifications at work a& that Paul and I come home to just us in our new home.

I also have to say how lucky we are in Australia that it is the middle of Winter and I am able to go to work at 7am with no jumper, it makes me one happy girl.

new beginning's

You may have noticed my absence from the world of blogging, the reason for this is that  Paul and I have just moved into our brand new home!!! Its has been a time of new beginning's, happiness and learning. I have had to learn to live with not seeing my beautiful handsome cheeky nephew each day and missing my sisters like crazy, on the upside Paul and I finally have our very own space to make our own family home! I can not wait to see what the future has in store for us.

Needless to say I have been doing a lot of home wears shopping and interior designing it has been so much fun getting to choose colour schemes for each room and putting my own little touches into each empty space, I want people to come over and say this is Paul and Alicia!

I also hope to get back into regular posts from now on.

mathilda's market

The Mathilda's markets were on this Saturday in Brisbane, I know they are markets aimed at babies and their mothers however my sister and I went as she has a baby boy. The markets were filled with such great ideas for pregnancy and little ones, I will differently be going back when its my time to become a mumma!!

So to say Wintersun was amazing fun would be an understatement!!! I had the best time on Sunday with Paul, my sister Brittney, her partner & my handsome little nephew Baylen. My husband is a mechanic so he loved all of the cars whereas I headed for the markets there were so many amazing handcrafted pieces, & yummy treats like my very vanilla cupcake above. I also purchased a neck scarf and some clothes for Baylen.

This gorgeous patchwork book cover was made especially for my by the lovely Linda from my sister's work, Can you believe she does not sell these anywhere!!! Every stitch is hand stitched with love & the best part as soon as I fill up this notebook the cover is easily taken off and put onto another book.
