So to say Wintersun was amazing fun would be an understatement!!! I had the best time on Sunday with Paul, my sister Brittney, her partner & my handsome little nephew Baylen. My husband is a mechanic so he loved all of the cars whereas I headed for the markets there were so many amazing handcrafted pieces, & yummy treats like my very vanilla cupcake above. I also purchased a neck scarf and some clothes for Baylen.

This gorgeous patchwork book cover was made especially for my by the lovely Linda from my sister's work, Can you believe she does not sell these anywhere!!! Every stitch is hand stitched with love & the best part as soon as I fill up this notebook the cover is easily taken off and put onto another book.

wonderful weekend

This past weekend was one of the best I have had, Friday night was a sushi dinner date with friends of ours & baskin robins ice-cream for dessert. Saturday was spent picking up home-wear lay-bys for our new home of which we move into on July 1!!! Paul & I are super excited this is our first home & we have gone through the whole building experience from start to finish, it has been the most amazing experience with some fustrations along the way but it is all happening now & I cannot wait to decorate it & make it our home.

Saturday night was spent at our friends 21st, she has been a friend for life I was at her 1st birthday and I am so happy I got to help her celebrate her 21st. Rachel had a themed party, you needed to come dressed as something starting with R.A.C.H as my name is Alicia I was already covered bit I decided to go as a rock band with my 2 beautiful sisters we all had jeans & black leather jackets with big accessories. It was such a great night, I love dress up parties that everyone gets into, there were some great ideas & it's always funny trying to guess who is who....

Sunday was spent showing my parents the final stages of our home under construction & Paul & I deciding what pieces of furniture we wanted & needed to buy, after we left we went for lunch & then to Freedom where we fell in love with so many things... now its just deciding what to actually buy!

Sunday afternoon was then spent baking cupcakes for yummy morning teas at work & lasagne, garlic bread & salad for dinner then off to a SATC2 movie date.

James Street, Fortitude Valley

So our internet has been broken for the past few days hence the lack of posting....

Last weekend I went to James Street, Fortitude Valley for some Sunday shopping and coffee. James Street has my favourite accessories label Mimco as well as Sass + Bide, Witchery and other stores and heaps of cafe's.

It is such a great way to spend a Sunday.

I had such a hard time deciding between a bangle, ring or earrings, as you can see I finally decided on the earrings & I love them.

Last Thursday was my husband's 23rd birthday we spent the day celebrating with a yummy breakfast, great friends and a caramel mudcake his favourite!

A part of his present was zorbing, he has always wanted to do it and I thought it was the perfect birthday gift. This is what I wore as I was just a spectator while he and my brother jumped into the giant ball and flew down the hill. It was such a fun day and Paul really enjoyed it.
