I am happy to say that my whole outfit was brought on sale for a total of $63!!! I love sales and fully take advantage of them while they are on. I try to stay away from trend pieces in clothing and stick to things I know I will wear but with accessories anything goes I will buy anything I like as they are so easy to work into outfits and can change the look of a simple top and skirt combo.



On another note blogging feels strange today knowing that 75% of the state I live in is classed as a disaster zone. However my office, home, friends and family have not been affected and I am so thankful for that. My thoughts go out to all Queenslander’s that have been affected and for those that have already lost their lives. Mother Nature is a crazy thing sometimes.

Here is a bit of an insight into my shopping loves, habits and regular places I visit when in need of some retail therapy! This is a general idea of places as I am an impulse shopper through & through if I love something I will buy it there and then.

However as a new year has just begun I am going to ‘try’ and think about my purchases more to build a solid foundation wardrobe.

I have always loved an animal/tribal print when done right, so you can imagine how happy I was when I came across this top for $10 at cotton on!!! I have already mixed it with black skinny jeans and now for work with this cute little skirt. It is also quite sheer so it looks pretty sexy when worn with a black bra and no cami underneath.

Happy 2011 !!!

I am so so so excited to begin this year! 2010 was so so for me I had my ups and downs but I am determined to make 2011 amazing.

These outfits shots are from the past couple of weeks while I have been on holiday from work. Even though it is Summer here in Australia it does not feel like it, it has been raining and quite sad. However Paul and I were so excited to plant our little garden (our first for our new place) while plants from my parents. We also spent a few days at various shopping centres making the most of all the sales at the moment.

So my baby sister (she is 20 but still a baby to me) has started to design and make her own skirts, dresses and make-up bags....

This skirt is actually a dress with shirring on the top but I have folded it under to make it a skirt for work for casual Friday.

We are hoping she gets a stall at The Village Markets in the new year until then she will continue to sew and be creative.

eight years and counting...

Paul and I have been together 8 years as of yesterday! I can't believe I am only 23 and already married to the my high school sweet heart!

This photo was on one of out 'date nights' where Paul took me to see the sunset at Mt Coot tha, we had a yummy dinner and some bubbly.

On another note life has been full speed for me over the last couple of months with work and settling into our new home. I hope to post more often from now on...
