eight years and counting...

Paul and I have been together 8 years as of yesterday! I can't believe I am only 23 and already married to the my high school sweet heart!

This photo was on one of out 'date nights' where Paul took me to see the sunset at Mt Coot tha, we had a yummy dinner and some bubbly.

On another note life has been full speed for me over the last couple of months with work and settling into our new home. I hope to post more often from now on...

I was super excited yesterday to pick up my new shoes I have had on lay by at Sportsgirl!!! I love love love these black wedges and have a feeling I will be wearing them with everything these coming months.

While I was at Sportsgirl I also picked up this cute little skirt reduced all the way down to $9.95, you can't really see it in the photos but it is black & white checks. I could not pass up a bargain like that.

The husby and I also went to a 21st on Saturday night it was a great night with friends and a yummy BBQ dinner.

melbourne cup workday

This Melbourne Cup has been the first cup I have ever worked since turning 18!!! Although I was sad not being able to actually go to the races I had a fantastic day at work as the admin girls had put on games and trivia and a beautiful lunch.

As you can see form the photos above I won the trivia game and was awarded my own cup and a little soft unicorn - I was stoked!!!

I hope you all had amazing days where ever you were and I hope you all received some winnings. I managed to book Maluckyday and got 2nd YAY.

We have had such amazing weather of late finally aloha to summertime... I have missed you hehe.

As mentioned in my previous post these are the cute earrings I brought from Mimco over the weekend they are the Babby Bow earrings and were just too cute not to buy I have been having a slight obsession with all things bow shaped at the moment.

Monday was full of madness for me I have been training some are recruits 8 to be exact and it is a big day!!!

Over the weekend my sister and I visited our beautiful city Brisbane and went shopping at the Southbank markets where I brought a scented candle for our room, we then ventured into the city to visit Mimco as we both had $30 gift cards for there, I brought some beautiful rose gold coloured bow earrings and my sis brought a hat.

Brisbane has had the most terrible weather of late it has been all raining and gloomy skies... totally not the October weather we are use to!!!

This weekend has been the first in about two and a half weeks the we have had blue skies!!

As it is spring and maxi skirts seem to be everywhere I decided to make my Sportsgirl maxi dress into a maxi skirt, I think it turned out ok....
